when you are for example are at a contest for the uneven bars, and you are playing you can press start on your D.S. and if you look at the top screen it shows your goals once you have finished a goal the star next to it will color in if you don't know how to do a move then if you go to the screen where you chose if you want to do for example: uneven bars, floor, and vault are the choices for level 8. Well if you go to that screen there is a button that shows you all the moves you know for the vault, beam, uneven bars, floor, and performance. then you'll know how to do that move you have to finish a certain amount of goals to finish a level you have to finish all the levels to win
