(It's not to obvious and never seems to be explained in the strategy guide)
If you click on a monster to select it, and it is still selected while it enters your castle (at the end of the path) it will be 'banished' (sent back to start)
This will cost a certain amount of mana depending on the monster.
If you don't have enough mana, it won't work, and you take damage as per usual.
Monsters are "banished" when they reach your wizard tower at the end of the path. The monster is returned to the start of its' path, but at a cost to your mana. If you do not have enough mana to do this you will be defeated! Each time a monster is banished, it requires an additional 50% of the original banishing cost, to banish again. This can add up quickly, especially with fast monsters. You can add skill points into the "Armor" skill to lower the initial banishing cost of the monsters.
the words you say to banish delarith on runescape are not the same for everyone so you will need to go to the gypsy ask her then write them down. the words are well the first few letters are cam... aber... gab...car...pu
UPDATE! Next release won't be "Chasing Shadows"! "Chasing Shadows" will be released sometime this year, the next version is "GemCraft chapter zero: Gem of Eternity". It was due to be released (according to gameinabottle) at the end of this January (first some weeks exclusively on armorgames), but now it's "Release date: as soon as it's ready, can't tell anything more exact." @ http://gameinabottle.com/gc0-screenshots.php [site downloaded at time of reply: 27th of Jan. 2009] The old reply follows "GemCraft 2 will arrive some time this fall. We are still n the very beginning of its development." @ http://www.jeux-top.fr/les-interviews/peter-hargitai [English version included at each answer, click on link "(Réponse originale en anglais)" ] "The next GemCraft title arrives in January, 2009. Thank you for your patience! Have a Happy Holiday! :-)" @ http://gameinabottle.com/ [sites downloaded at time of reply: 14th of dec. 2008] And a remark for previous replies: first nov.15, then dec.13 - I don't know who put these here, and what was the reference to those dates, but without reference it seems like someone was fooling the people... bad! :P
Well, there are multiple ones, but the one i think is the best engine of Banishing is Nobleman of Crossout. you must have heard of this broken card. If you haven't, here is a brief overview: Select one face down defense position monster on the field(yours or your opponents, I have no idea) banish the Selected monster. Do you see how broken this card is? Just banish your opponents Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, or Their wickedly overpowered Sangan or Even a Dandylion!!! The Thing is, how do you know which cards to banish? Easy, use a card that reveals the card but still turns it back face down!!!! One great example of a card that can do this is Milla the Temporal magician, From The Booster Pack GENERATION FORCE. Now with this overview, you can grab a Nobleman of Crossout and the Milla to throw in your Side Deck! of course, there are many more spells that can banish monsters, and this is just one. I am sure you can find more!

They have purposely not given a release date for GemCraft Labyrinth, their newest project, because they do not have a good idea when it will be ready.
