It really depends on the router, for example on my Netgear Rangemax router I would put 198.162.0.1 into my URL bar, login, go to my Ports section and allow both UDP and TCP Ports 25565.

Look up a port forwarding guide!

How do you create a web server?

Well, for starters, you'll need some sort of server software. Apache is free and is a good choice for web servers. After installing the software, you'll need to go through and set it up with the options you want. Additionally, if you access the internet through a router, you'll need to go into the router's setup and forward some ports (almost always port 80, occasionally other ports if you plan to use anything other than plain HTTP). Once all that is done, anyone can type your IP address into their browser and see the website hosted on your computer.

How do I allow the outside world to see my website hosted on my xampp apache server on my computer?

Although there isn't quite enough information in the question to be certain what you're looking for: The general answer is that you need to configure Port Address Translation on your Router/Firewall. Your router's WAN IP address is a valid Internet address, however your computer is most likely using a privately scoped IP address (either 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x) that is not a valid Internet address. You need to configure your Router or Firewall in such a way that when it receives traffic on its WAN IP address on port 80, it will forward that traffic to your internal server at the 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x. adddress. Most common home routers support this, with a minimum of configuration.

What do people mean by application hosting in cloud computing?

It means the software application you are running and using is not on your computer, but hosted on a server. This means you can access it and use it anywhere from any computer, so you don't need to have that software on your computer. This gives people a lot more flexibility in their working. They can also have their files in the cloud and use them from anywhere too. All you need your computer to be able to do is to access the internet and get to the applications and files you want to work with.

How can i modify previously created HTML page?

Assuming the page is hosted someplace other than your computer (locally), you must gain access (likely FTP) to that server and download a copy of the page. From there, you can edit the source code, then re-upload the new, modified page to the server. If the page is hosted locally (on your computer) then you just have to right click the file and select "open with" and choose your HTML editing software

Speed up pdf access on ftp site?

There really no easy way to speed up PDF access. If the file is real large it will slow down access to it. Also if the server the file is hosted on could be slow or have to many people trying to gain access at the same time you are. Your own internet connection and your computer can be causing slow connections. The best thing you can do is try and troubleshoot the reason for slow connections.
