During SA2 the humans mistook Shadow for Sonic and vice versa because of their shape and the fact that they're both 3ft 3inch hedgehogs, Amy did it too but personally i don't understand how they did it unless the people in Sonic's world see in black and white -.- but they've said blue hedgehog in the games too many times for that to be possible.
