It doesn't work on all computers. Try changing the key.

If you mean that you want to change the view mode, all you have to do is press [F5] and the view will change to a 'far' camera mode. If you press it again, it will face your character, and pressing it once more changes it back to normal.

On a PC, you press F5 but I'm not sure about the button you press for Macs

You can change your view by pressing F5.
There are two ways to take a screen shot in Minecraft. One of them is to press the print screen button on your keyboard, then right click and click paste on a Picture document. The easier way is to press F2, then go to your .minecraft folder and click on screenshots to view it.
