If you get the Pokemon Arceus event and the egg what do you do with the egg for Pokemon heart gold?
Arceus awakens the Pokemon you Choose, Palkia, Dialga or Giratina. The egg hatches during the event, and that Pokemon joins your party. It is Lv. 1.

no it is legendary. but in Pokemon heart gold or soul silver you get a giratina or palkia or dialga egg by going with arceus to the alph ruins
How do you get to the Pokemon HeartGold Arceus event?
There is currently no Arceus event for Heart Gold, but there was an event for DPP where you could obtain Arceus to level 100 with the moves Spacial Rend, Roar of Time, Shadow Force, and Judgment. Currently that is the only way to legally obtain Arceus.
