How are video games made?

First the project leader comes up with the concept for the game. he gets aproval from the company sponsores and gets to work. he sends his ideas over to the programmers and concept artists. the programers tell the game what to do when certain things happen like pressing a button by suing lines of code that the progam can translate into what the programmer wants. the concept artist designs the characters enimies environments and anything else visual about the game. he sends his work over to the progammers, modelers and animators. the modelers take his designs and make a 3d version on the computer. the modelers send there designs over to the animator who makes them move. then they send the animated models over to the programmers who apply them to the program. after that modelers who make the environments apply their part of the design to the program. when the game is done being made they send it to the esrb for rating to see what age group its suited for. they dont restrict you selling your project they're just trying to keep sugestive material away from minors.you can put what ever you want in a game.after that the producers get the word out about the game and it hits stiore shelves usually about 2-5 years after its conception.
