After you defeat all 8 gym leaders in Kanto, you will have to go the proffessor's lab in viridan city and he will "arange" a trip to Silver Cave.
FIRST IT ISENT SILVER CAVE IF YOU GOING TO TRAINER RED IT IS MT.SILVER=MOUNTAIN.SILVER IF YOU ARE GOING TO DEFEAT RED YOU NEDD POKEMON OVER LVL 60 AT LEAST I BEATED HIM WITH MY LVL 69 LUGIA AND MY LVL 70 HO-HO YOU CAN ONLY GET HO-HO IN LVL 70 IN POKEMON SILVER OTHER WISE NOT IN POKEMON CRYSTAL OR ANY OTHER GAME SO YOU NEED TO CATCH THEM FIRST OR YOU CAN CATCH FOR EXAMPLE SNEASEL BUT IT IS HARD YOU NEED MUCH WITH LUCK AND TRAIN IT TO LVL 57 AND THE RENAME THE SNEASEL TO THIS CCCCCELEBI OTHER WISE IT WONT WORK THEN AT LVL 57 IT TRYING TO LEARN A ATTACK AND CLICK YES AND PUT IT IN THE 3 MOVE OTHER WISE YOU GET AN OTHER POKEMON GOOD LUCK AND SEE YA :D :P
