You need a different region's game or to change your DS settings.
What you do is you start the game and there is a little globe in the corner and you touch it and it'll bring you to the Language menu.
This is not actually possible on the DS version or the Wii version. If you have a different area's copy of the game, then it's that language.
Go to settings (ds symbol). Hit the wrench (options) and hit the globe (language). You now should be able to change the language.
i didnt play the game but my guess is if its a nintendo ds game, change your birthday from the ds settings not from the game itself
Language is usually set by the language of the DS console itself. Otherwise, if the game has multiple language support, it usually asks each time it is started. Lastly if it has neither, then really only the game's own manual can tell you, there is no standardised 'language change' function.

you can't change the language from English because its a American originated game.
As far as I know, I believe you can't change the language setting on the game. However, you can change the language setting on your DS, DS Lite, of DSi, and that might just work. I'm not exactly positive, but it never hurts to try!
