Yes, but not in our Earth. He lives on a different fantasy like version of our Earth. An Earth with checkered dirt and naturally formed loops. Do not confuse it with Sonic X's parallel Earths idea or Mobius which is a planet name the US gave but stopped using ever since Sonic Adventures because they were proven wrong.
