Does jin kazama like ling xiaoyu?

Jin Kazama most definitely does like Ling Xiaoyu. Its been confirmed countless times that they became friends in high school. Xiaoyu was brought over to Japan and the school from Jin's grandfather, Heihachi. Heihachi also gave her a bodyguard (Panda) and ample area to practice her Martial Arts for the tournament. Because of how he is and needed Jin in tekken 3, I'm pretty sure Heihachi did this for selfish reasons and saw the benefit of having Xiaoyu around being that Jin wasn't very social and this is evident in his storyline/behavior.

Jin ended up not wanting Xiaoyu to get hurt in the next tournament and warned her in an email. He also calls her 'Xiao', a name only those close to her seem to do (not to mention it's informal being her first name). This shows they weren't just acquaintances, possibly close to best friends. In Blood Vengeance, Xiaoyu describes Jin (possibly Jin) to being her best friend and how she "misses him every day".

In the movie, Jin also appears to her several times for talking and comfort while she cries over Alisa, questions their friendship and even runs for her life (he flies down to help her up from the Mokujin spirits.

This may be noticed by 'fans' of there being romantic feelings associated with them, but when Xiaoyu yells "Why did he (Shin) have to die" before the 3-Mishima/Kazama-fight, he looks at her with concern and a bit of sadness b4 quickly changing his glance to hate at Heihachi.
