No, Dead Space 2 will NOT feature an offline co-operative mode.

Dead Space 2 will only feature single-player and online multi-player modes.

The story mode will be approximately twelve hours long, depending on the difficulty setting, amount of exploration, and the player's skill.

The multi-player mode will allow up to four players to play as the Sprawl security team while the other four or less players will be the Necromorphs. The multi-player is four to eight players on one map.
