Yes she does die. She seals iblis/mephiles in her soul causing her to fade away only having time to tell silver how much she liked him and how ignorent he was. Sorry for all you Blaze fans try not to think about it, personally Shadow is my favorite character and Blaze second. She was a brave and valient person who gave life to save the world. And as a extra Blaze apperears once or twice in sonic x.
