They come in white and black, although black is somewhat rare.
to reconnect any xbox controller, whether or not it be a rock band controller, all you have to do is press the small white button with little arrows or something on the controller until the xbox lights on the controller flash around in a circle. then press the same kind of button on the front of the xbox 360 console. it looks the same, only a little bigger. that should work, but if not, try it the other way around: console, then controller.
