No you cant, since UK uses PAL encoding system, so it stops people from bringing USA games or equipment for the Xbox 360 to UK or vis versa while USA uses the NTSC encoding system, these codes are encoded into the Xbox 360, American=NTSC UK,Europe=PAL
No due to region locks on the console. This is also the case with the Wii, however the PS3 is not region locked

Yes and no. Yes in if the disk specifically says it will work in Region 1. However, some European games are made for PAL TV's. American TV's are the NTSC type so some graphics wont display correctly on an American TV.

Sure can, the games are not zoned but the DVD function is and won't work.
Either chip. or flash it.
There is no difference in format but you may experience problens with game play.
