Did anyone notice that in the earlier Pokemon series episodes the Pokemon world had fruits like oranges but as time went on they all of a sudden lost earth food and were replaced by berries?

Berries are food primarly used for pokémon, humans still eat "normal food" (They don't have animals, so the meat they eat probably comes from pokémon).
