This only usually happens on days that Craaaaazy Redd is in town! Me it happened to while I was buying the amazing painting from Redd and it happened to my friend while buying a toilet! It happened to us because we played quite a bit and our DS's died while we were playing...so, yeah! When you play for a long time make sure to plug your DS in!!!
