No, unless specifically stated otherwise on the card, a monster's special summon requires it to be summoned from your hand, or in the case of Synchro and XYZ monsters, from the Extra Deck.Plaguespreader Zombie can special summon itself from the graveyard because it says it can. But you cannot use for example, the special summon requirements on Chaos Sorcerer, or an XYZ monster, while they are in the graveyard.
Firstly, XYZ monsters have ranks, not levels, meaning in general they cannot be used for an XYZ summon. The two terms are not interchangable, a Rank 3 monster is not a Level 3 monster, you cannot use two Rank 3 monsters for the XYZ summon of something that needs two Level 3 monsters.Despite this there are a small handful of XYZ monsters who have an alternate summon method, where they can Overlay an XYZ monster. However for these, they specify already that the original monster's material becomes material for the new monster. If there was ever an XYZ Monster that can overlay other XYZ monsters and did not specify what happened to their material, that material would simply go to the graveyard, as the monster they were attached to has gone.
Yes, you can tribute an XYZ monster to tribute summon something.
No, cards like 'Polymerization', 'Future Fusion', and 'Fusion Gate' cannot be used to summon any of the XYZ Fusion Monsters. These Fusion Monsters cannot be Fusion Summoned and requires you to banish the monsters listed on the Fusion Monster from your side of the field in order to Special Summon them.
Nothing really. Any Xyz material stays under it. " If an Xyz Monster is flipped face-down, or becomes controlled by the opponent, the Xyz Materials are not sent to the Graveyard. They remain attached to the Xyz Monster." - Konami

Sweetheart, you can't special summon an Xyz monster from the graveyard unless a card effect specifically allows you to do so. So, unless you've got a card up your sleeve that says otherwise, you'll have to find another way to bring that monster back from the grave. Keep digging through your deck for a solution, darling!
tour Gide of the under world lets you summon another level from the deck then you can make a rank 3 xyz that way
Yes you can but only if you have not summoned a monster already that turn. You can only summon or set a monster once per turn. You can summon a monster during main phase 1 or main phase 2 Draw phase Standby phase Main phase 1 Battle phase Main phase 2 End phase
ok xyz summons or easy it goes by the rank of the xyz monster you combine two monsters on your side of the filed that have the same level as the xyz monster's rank. just look at how many stars are on the xyz card if its 4 then you put two level 4 monsters on top one another and put the xyz on top of them so it goes by the rank of the xyz monster.

Yes, the XYZ monster will gain "When it is Xyz Summoned: Draw 1 card. When it is Xyz Summoned: Draw 1 card." so you will draw twice.
To use Rank-Up-Magic Barian Force, you select the Xyz Monster on your field that will be used as an Xyz Material for a Xyz Monster 1 Rank higher than it from your Extra Deck (Must be a "Number C" or "CXyz" that will be Summoned and must have the same type as the monster on the field). Place that Xyz Monster on top of the selected Xyz Monster on the field and any remaining Xyz Materials on the original monster will be added to the new monster. Then the last effect of Barian Force will resolve and take a Xyz Material from your opponent's monster and use it as its own.
When a card that says you can Special Summon a card, and specifies from where. For example: Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World, can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard during your Main Phase, by returning 1 face-up Dark World monster back to your hand. Or if it's a Synchro or Xyz Monster, then those monsters have to be Special Summoned by their own Summoning mechanic, in which read Synchro Summons, and Xyz Summons. There is no limit on how many times you can Special Summon, so if you have a lot of cards that can Special Summon a lot, go nuts.
