Yes, the two are compatible.

I dont know if you have a PS3 or PS2 but im going to give a PS3 answer. I originally had problems getting my singstar PS2 mics to work with Guitar Hero world tour on PS3 but found a workaround that got it all working for me. First unplug all usb devices then turn on console. Second plug blue singstar mic into blue jack in USB dongle and plug USB dongle into USB port 1 on your PS3. Third turn on your wireless controller (used for star power) and make sure it is set to controller 1. Fourth plug in GH:WT USB Dongle into USB port 2 and turn on the wireless guitar making sure it is showing as controller 2. Fifth enter the game and you will find that only the vocals will light up in single mode however if you go to band mode you will be able to enter the game with both instruments aviailable.

Oh, dude, like, technically, you can't use a SingStar microphone in Guitar Hero World Tour. They're like two different worlds, man. It's like trying to use a fork to eat soup, it just doesn't work.
