I am pretty sure you fin it at route 35 but you still have to wait until Mary tells you unless it won't work.You can catch Yanma both before and after you get the National Dex. It can be found in Route 35 but it is ALOT easier to catch after you get the National Dex. Before it is a 1% encounter rate. Now after you get the National Dex, you can listen to Pokemon Talk on your radio and they will tell you when there is a swarm of Yanma's. When that happens, you can go over to Route 35 and find Yanma alot easier. Before it was a 1%, but now, if there is a swarm, it will go up to a 40%, so it gets alot easier to find.

How do you catch a Pidgey on Pokemon Diamond?
First get the national pokedex. Go to the house right under the Pokemon center in sandgem town. a little girl will be there. She will tell u where different Pokemon are. The Pokemon she says vary. Keep going every day. Sooner or later she will tell you that there is a lot of pidgey there on a certain route, when she says it you will hardly see anything else on that route.
How do you get meagainium in Pokemon Diamond?
You need to have Pokemon Emerald to do this. In Emerald, catch all 202 Pokemon. Professor Birch will call you to his lab on the Pokenav. Go there, and Birch will let you have one of the Johto Starter Pokemon. Choose Chikorita and raise it to a Bayleef (it will evolve at Level 16). Then raise Bayleef to Meganium (it will evolve at Level 32). Send Meganium to Pokemon Diamond via Pal Park. To get Meganium you must catch all 202 Pokemon in Pokemon Emerald. Professor Birch will call you on the Pokenav and tell you to come to his lab. Go there and Birch will let you choose one of the three Johto Starter Pokemon. Choose Chikorita and raise it to a Bayleef (it evolves at Level 16) and raise that Bayleef to a Meganium (it evolves at Level 32). Send Meganium to Pokemon Diamond via Pal Park. You cannot catch wild Chikorita in Pokemon Diamond without cheating using the action replay.
