u battle it. then throw a pokeball at it. and then u have captured it :)I hope your a fan of the Pokemon Talk radio broadcast because you have to listen in to that every day until Mary tells you where to catch a Yanma. I am pretty sure you fin it at route 35 but you still have to wait until Mary tells you unless it won't work.You can catch Yanma both before and after you get the National Dex. It can be found in Route 35 but it is ALOT easier to catch after you get the National Dex. Before it is a 1% encounter rate. Now after you get the National Dex, you can listen to Pokemon Talk on your radio and they will tell you when there is a swarm of Yanma's. When that happens, you can go over to Route 35 and find Yanma alot easier. Before it was a 1%, but now, if there is a swarm, it will go up to a 40%, so it gets alot easier to find.

How do you get meagainium in Pokemon Diamond?
You need to have Pokemon Emerald to do this. In Emerald, catch all 202 Pokemon. Professor Birch will call you to his lab on the Pokenav. Go there, and Birch will let you have one of the Johto Starter Pokemon. Choose Chikorita and raise it to a Bayleef (it will evolve at Level 16). Then raise Bayleef to Meganium (it will evolve at Level 32). Send Meganium to Pokemon Diamond via Pal Park. To get Meganium you must catch all 202 Pokemon in Pokemon Emerald. Professor Birch will call you on the Pokenav and tell you to come to his lab. Go there and Birch will let you choose one of the three Johto Starter Pokemon. Choose Chikorita and raise it to a Bayleef (it evolves at Level 16) and raise that Bayleef to a Meganium (it evolves at Level 32). Send Meganium to Pokemon Diamond via Pal Park. You cannot catch wild Chikorita in Pokemon Diamond without cheating using the action replay.

You need to see all the Sinnoh Pokemon, go and show the Prof in Sandgem Town your Pokedex, and he will tell you about Pal Park. Save your game and turn your DS off. Then slot your Pokemon Emerald Game Cartridge into the bottom of the DS and turn it on. Go on Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, and this time on the title screen it will say: Migrate From Emerald. Click on it and you can choose any Pokemon from your PC in Emerald and they will later be in the Pal Park. YOU CANNOT GET YOUR POKEMON BACK ONCE TRANSFERED TO DIAMOND/PEARL. Once you've picked your Pokemon, continue your Diamond/Pearl game and surf off the beach in Sandgem Town until you hit an island. Go through the grass and you will be at a place called Pal Park. The man in the entrance once you have entered the building will tell you about Pal Park, then you can enter, and the 7 Pokemon you chose from your Emerald PC will be available to catch in the wild. The Pal Park balls are just like Master Balls so you will always catch the Pokemon. You have now migrated your Pokemon from Emerald to Diamond. You must catch all 7 of the migrated Pokemon before leaving the Pal Park. They will each be in different habitats. Once you have caught all 7, they will be in your PC. Hope This Helped
