unfortunately, no. the new buildings that came with the sims 3 ambitions you can go in and explore, but the buildings that came with the sims 3, like the town hall and school, everything that was there before will remain rabbit holes, which means you cant go and see what your Sims are doing

if you mean you want to play as them when they are at work, you can not. you can't go to work with your sims. if you have a business on a different lot then you have to have your sims go to that lot when they are controllable (i.e. not at work)

First, go into the edit town mode. Go to the top of the list and create the lot of 64X64 and there you have it.

Your sim can but you cant unless you hold down tab and use your arrow keys to move around
