In more detail, make the two sims (male & female) both 'relax' in the same bed (has to be a double bed). You also have to make sure their relationship is high enough, in the 90s-100s to make sure you will not be rejected.

Click on the other sim and choose 'cuddle on bed'.

Once they are cuddling, 'Kiss' 'Make out' 'Woo Hoo' & 'Try For Baby' will all be available (again, given their relationship is high enough).

If you choose Woo Hoo, your sims will Woo Hoo but will not get pregnant.

If you choose Try For Baby there is a possibility of getting pregnant this time. If you hear a little tune at the end of the Try For Baby it means your sim is pregnant. If you don't hear the sound, just try again or leave it for another time.

In most cases you will know if your sim in pregnant on the same night or within the next day because they will 'get nauseous from unknown cause'. If your sim is pregnant, they will produce a baby bump within a few sim days and this will confirm whether it has worked or not. - Gingerbread2480
