You can get an Areodactyl by digging in pokemon platinum,diamond, platinum and any other pokemon game if you have explorer kit or by trade. But in pokemon black and white you have to finish the game and go to the mountain next to Iccirus City and talk to the worker and then you'd get a fossil. Tip: Areodatyl is in the Old Amber fossil!
