Yes it is possible to get free premium on tribal wars. You get a few days free premium for reaching certain goals like 1000 points and 15k points. I think this changes every world (but i am not sure). Uisally for the first goal it is 7 days and for the second 3 days.

There is also a way to earn free premium points by completing offers with sponsor pay. It is for quite a few countries. Its worth checking if your country has it. It is on the list of payment options just like all the others. You complete free offers like surveys, videos and offers like that and get rewarded with free premium. the sponsors offer anywhere between 1-600 premium points for a offer (or 600 is the most i have seen anyway...) Videos range from 1-3 premium points usually.

It is also possible to get free premium points by going to settings then going to recrute player. It gives you a link. when a new player you recrute to the game uses the link and reaches 500 points (it does not take long) you get a free premium account for 5 days.

P.S. Free premium points can be spent on Account manager, premium account and it can be transfeered to other players. free premium by reaching point goals and recruting players cannot. it is linked to your account and only you (or a player on your account) can use it.
