Can you evolve tangeny at Pokemon FireRed?

no ,Tangrowth wasn't created until generation 4 (Soul silver,Heart gold,pearl,diamond and platinum).You have to import a tangela (Tangeny is just 1 tangela's name) into SS,HG,P,D, or Pt and catch it in Pal Park located in Fuchsia city in HG and SS and on route 221 in P,D and Pt using Park Balls (which act just like Master Balls).You have to import 6 pokemon at a time and there is a limit of 6 per 24 hour period in P,D and Pt, but because Park Balls work in one try ,catching them is just a formality and all pokemon rare or common appear just as frequently (you will need surf to catch water types though).Oh and tangela needs to know AncientPower...sorry about going into such detail and btw ,I'm going to evolve my Tangeny into tangrowth as well.
