You are supposed to be Ash in the first generation of the games (Red/Blue) but that is debatable
Some hackers know how to fight ash in the games but I don't know how they do it, well you can get his Pokemon from Kanto in Yellow Version and in all the others like in Johto and Sinnoh and Unova you have to trade some Pokemon but in Hoenn Just get a Treeko and catch all the others like Tailow, Pikachu, Torkoal, Corpfish, and Snorunt.
