go to your heartgold or soulsilver main menu and you'll see connect to pokewalker. you can retrieve it from there by pointing your pokewalker at your ds.

yes, any ds game can connect to the wii if its Pokemon Can Heartgold and soulsilver and platinum deposit any Pokemon into the wii ware Pokemon Ranch all the way from a splashy Magikarp all the way to a Spikey eared Pichu and even an Event Arceus, complete with an event ribbon? You cannot even trade this arceus over GTS.
