There is a chance, but not usually. You can get shinies from eggs of normal colored Pokemon, but that's even rarer than encountering a shiny or getting a shiny from an egg laid by a shiny
No, the egg will not be shiny. However, it is possible that the egg will hatch into a shiny Pokemon, but the chances of getting a shiny Pokemon from the egg are not any higher than they would be if the ditto were not shiny.
You have a 1/8192 chance of getting a shiny Pokemon, which means it is a different colour than what it normally is e.g. Charizard is normally red but it goes black if your real lucky! No worries :)
yes they are
The only difference between a shiny and non-shiny Pokemon is color. A shiny Pokemon is a different color than it usually would be and when you encounter one, at the beginning of the battle stars sparkle around it. There are no difference in the stats, but shiny Pokemon are more rare than regular ones. The chances of finding a shiny Pokemon is 1/8,192. Also, when you catch one there is a red star on its stats page and the pokedex number shows up in red.

The chance of getting a shiny Pokemon is about 1/8211 or something like that, unless you continuously use the PokeRadar or breed two different language Pokemon together. Shiny Pokemon's stats are no different than other Pokemon.
Yes, there are shiny Pokemon in Soul Silver. But there is a very slim chance that you will run into one. But if you do, then catch it, because shiny Pokemon are very rare. Also, try the Masuda Method. If you have a Japanese Pokemon and an English Pokemon, mate them. There's a better chance of getting a shiny Pokemon than 2 English Pokemon. ( Make sure 1 or both of them have evolved. This will make it easier to mate. )

Just keep getting lots of eevees. There is about a 1 in 8192 chance of a shiny. Shinies aren't any better than normal pokemon, by the way.
different than usual colored Pokemon
yes they are
Shiny Pokemon are not more powerful than normal Pokemon. The only difference is the color.
A shiny Pokemon is no different than a regular Pokemon in stats or growing levels.
Yes, you can get a shiny by breeding two normal pokemon. If you are using two pokemon that you from the same reigon (such as two pokemon you caught yourself), the chances of hatching a shiny pokemon are 1 in 8192. However, when breeding, the Masuda Method can be used to improve your chances of hatching a shiny pokemon. To use the Masuda Method, breed two pokemon from different reigions (for example, one pokemon you caught and a pokemon you obtained from a trade from somewhere else in the world over the GTS). The chance of hatching a shiny pokemon while using the Masuda Method is 1 in 2048.
That Pokemon must be a shiny Pokemon, a shiny Pokemon is a very rare kind that has different colors than normal.
