It's only worth getting really if you have a hd tv, then you can play blu rays and experience the graphics of certain games in HD. If you want a good game to start off with, then buy uncharted 2. It's the best game out there on the ps3. Of course, the ps3 has some games that are very good, so keep it incase you ever want to get it out again. The ps3 is very good though .
