okay you go striaght to pallet town (the first town you start in ) you go down past pro.oaks lab their should be a body of water swim all the way down it tell you come to a island.the gym well be locked so you have to go into the burnt up mansion witch has the key and some other items (the gym here is a fire gym same with the mansion fire guys every were) you have to go up to the top floor and drop down one of the holes (farthest one on the screen) some were in their well be the key. hope you know lost about Pokemon because in the gym their is a triva question if you wanna pass through if not you vs the trainer of the last door the answer is NO.good luck
