Working in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health field we become very familiar with having to voice a person's affect. We also have reports sent from Mental Health hospitals which have various lists of what a person's affect can be. Some of these are; sad, tearful, joy, angry, irritable, blunted, flat (no personality, or monotoned, no emotion), inappropriate, appropriate, labile, and constricted. Just to mention a few, I am sure that there are many more out there however these are the most common that I run into.
