Well when I make it for birthdays I feed approx. 15 people ( with big appetites) and I use a large crock pot to make mine. I usually use around 10 pounds of meat. But depends on if you like alot of meat in your chili or not. So if I were to make it I would you at least 15 lbs. I would rather make too much then not to have enough. Hope this helps.

If the chili is REALLY good then plan for 10 quarts. If the people are small, like children, probably 5 quarts would do it. So, anywhere in between depending upon your Demographics, and of course, how hungry everyone is.
250 bowls! -Unless it's REALLY DELICIOUS GOOD chili & lots of people want seconds... then allow for 25% more than that. That would be approximately 20 -25 Gallons (U.S.), figuring 10 bowls per gallon. And don't forget the grated Cheddar Cheese & diced onions! -I even like diced Bell Peppers as a garnish for the chili.
Depends on how hungry they are. Most people will eat of bowl (about 10 ounces) others will whan more (16 to 20 ounces). Lets just say a serving is 14 ounces, times 20 people = 280 ounces. A cup is 8 ounces so one will need at least 35 cups of Chili.
It depends how much chili they eat. For example, if 5 people eat 3 chilies, and 15 eat 10 and the others only eat one, you will have to feed 180 chilies.
