there is a production code on every can and bottle. You have to call 1-800-788-5047 and ask - they are very helpful on this issue (they dont want any issues with spoilage of their products)

Actually, it doesn't exactly.

You can drink out-dated Coke for a few months after it's due date.

People just freak out it's outdated and think it's bad.
