There are so many types of wines, sweet, dry, fortified etc. and each one of them complements a type of food perfectly. So, why do we have wine ? To enjoy the complexity of flavors and aromas, either paired with food or as a standalone beverage drank on a warm summer evening.

The purpose of wine is to preserve the grape, in another form, so it can be stored longer than the original grape could be.

Most people, just drink to make other people, add them in to their group, they drink to look cool... B)
