There is no reason why children cannot drink wine. The antioxidants are just as good for them as they are for adults, and as long as they don't go drinking beer daily at a pub/bar, the alcohol will help more than harm them. It is basically up to supervision. When I was 5, I drank 3/4 wine glass of Riesling and i didn't go dancing around like some crazy drunk nightclub goer!
