Burger King is flame broiled and typical contain less grease, but this doesn't mean the fat isn't higher. Burger King may be more real patty but McDonalds contains more variations of soy and so fourth. Even if McDonalds is greaser it might at times be healthier.

The reason why McDonalds put gherkins in their burgers is because, with you the gherkins, the burgers would be classed as a dessert due to the high levels of sugar in their burgers.
