It takes 9 liters to make 1 liter of coca cola, although the coca cola company will tell you otherwise. 1/3 of this water is used to make the coca cola and the other 2/3 is used to clean equipment and bottles. Last year 900,000 gallons of water were used by the Coca Cola company!
