Tastira, or testira, is a traditional Tunisian type of salsa, made of hot and mild peppers (Chile and bell peppers), onions and garlic spiced with ground caraway seeds and cooked in oil.

The attached link features a tastira recipe to be served with fried eggs, a popular dish served at any time of day. This style of serving eggs and salsa is common to many cultures worldwide.
