You must define a unit, - it could be 50 grams, 50 pounds, 50 ml and so on. Decide which unit you want.

When measuring fluid, 50ml is equal to 2 ounces or 1/4 of a cup. However, one would think that 1/2 of a cup was then equal to 100ml, but that is not so. 1/2 of a cup is equal to 125ml. The reason for this is that the 2 ounces is really round up from 1.7598 fl. oz.

If you're referring to ounces, 50mL is 1.69oz.
