A farinaceous product is anything that has high starch content. The farinaceous food group includes grains, tubers, and roots, anything that produces a flour/ground meal and contains a lot of starch. Farinaceous foods are rice, sago, tapioca, maize, wheat flour (etc). A few examples of farinaceous dishes are gnocchi, polenta, rice risotto, couscous, or any pasta or noodle dish. These are just a few examples.
