142 ml is not equal to a pint. For example: there are 2 teaspoons in 10 ml so, 142 ml would be equal to 28 teaspoons. It is not enough to equal a pint.

142ml is around 1/4 of a pint of liquid. I recently had cause to look this up when a recipe asked for 142ml. If you buy a small carton of cream this is the amount you will get.
