1102 liters in 1 metric ton roughly..... a metric ton has roughly 290 gallons in it give or take dependent on the weight of the product (unsure of the weight of canola oil Google can probably help) 290 gallons * 3.8 liters per gallon = roughly 1102 liters per MT.

Sunflower oil has a density of 918.8kg/m3 at 25oC. This means that one cubic metre of the oil will weigh 918.8kg.

One tonne is 1 000kg, so if we divide one tonne by the weight of one m3 we get the number of cubic metres we need for one tonne. 1 000/918.1 = 1.08838m3.

one cubic metre is 1 000 litres, so one tonne of sunflower oil needs 1088.38 litres.
