The cooking measurement of one teaspoon is a volume measurement and cannot be converted into weight unless you name the material that is being measured. A teaspoon of Mercury would be much heavier than a teaspoon of flour.

One US teaspoon = 4.9 milliliters or 0.17 US fluid ounces (1/6 of an ounce)

Six teaspoons = 1 US fluid ounce

For water: one fluid ounce is approximately equal to one ounce by weight.

One teaspoon of water is approximately equal to 1/6 ounce by weight.

Remember, these figures only apply to water.
