Most Zinfandels are meant to be drank in a year or two. This is actually true of most wines. However, some will last longer. I drank a 2004 Zinfandel this past week from Wood Family Wines in Livermore and it tasted great.

Properly stored, Zinfandel should last for decades.

All wine should be consumed withing 48 hrs. It could last longer if you shoot a gas or vacuum seal it.
