There isn't any specific shelf-life for champagne...it varies due to the ingredients and makers. Champagne keeps for a few years as long as it is stored in a cool, dark, dry environment. Example: A bottle that has been on your shelf for 2 years will still be good for consumption. A bottle that has been in your closet for 8 years should be used only for cruise-liner christenings!

Champagne should be stored at about 7-10 degrees Celsius or about 45-55 Fahrenheit. The average bottle should keep for up to 3-4 years.

A bottle of vintage champagne will keep for longer but 10 years is normally the recommended maximum you should keep it.

This depends upon how it is being stored after it has been opened. If the cork or something similar has not been placed to keep it fresh, probably 2-3 days at most. If you do have something to keep it fresh you are probably good for a couple of weeks or so. You can buy champagne keepers at a place like Bed Bath and Beyond or other places of this kind.

For years provided it is stored correctly and unopened. A bottle should be laid at a tilt to ensure the liquid is cork side down rather than sitting upright. As the cork ages, it would shrink if the liquid was not covering it therefore wasting the champagne. If it's not for immediate use and unopened then it should be stored in a cool, dry dark place such as a cellar. Bottles being checked for shrinkage of the cork or any other signs of air tight breakage. If a bottle is opened and being stored in a fridge probably a few days.

It depends on the quality of wine. If the chardonnay is "Yellowtail" for example, it will not age very well.

Depends on the quality of the cork, and the quality of the champagne. If the cork stays good, the champagne ought to be good for decades.

A day or two at the most. To help keep its fizz, insert an inverted metal spoon into the neck of the bottle, leaving the wide spoon part upwards. Don't know how this works, but it does.
