Up to about a month --- until it starts to shrivel. If it looks and feels a bit rough, throw it.

(The fruit can go wrinkly-hard or mushy).

Wrinkly-hard is dried out and will taste stringy

Mushy is mould... throw it

Store Oranges in a cool dry place individually wrapped in tissue paper.

Mould from one will spread more quickly to the next if not separated.

Refrigerator is OK Freezer would burst the fruit cells.

You can preserve fruits with sugar: Sugar-preserve Orange.

You can preserve by boiling in sugar: Marmalade.
