ANSWER:It will be fine. People have been storing their butter on a butter dish on the dining room table for years. - and I add: getting heart disease and illnesses for years! Store it in the fridge! It comes out of a cows body - its a dairy product. Not as perishable as milk due to highfat content. Butter left out goes rancid - rather unhealthy! Search under 'rancidity' on Google - good luck xoh yes: to make butter more spreadable u can mix butter with olive oil and then store that in the fridge :-) Works greta and tastes great!
The Left-Hand Side of the Fridge was created in 2000.
Yes certainly - I keep a small amount of butter in a covered container in the cupboard - I keep most of it in the fridge to maintain freshness & just cut off say 1/4 cup to keep out at room temp to use for spreads & on baked goods.

you melt the butter in the microwave and then the stuff that is left you scrape it off and then you just have the pure butter left.

Yes, lettuce can be left out at room temperature but this will make it go bad faster if it is not kept in a sealed bag. Although lettuce goes bad pretty quickly anyway, in the fridge or not.
yes i would say it can, cool cupboard or even a cool windowsil, or even outside in a weather proof and clean container.. remember years ago people didn't always have fridges.. and butter is older than the fridge!!
