The childproof conatiners were invented by Dr. Henri Brealt (1909-1983)
no because a child can still get into them.
they work up into a certain age
it depends on the container and the factory its made in
Containers that are hard for children to open. E.g. Bleach bottles, medicine bottles. Usually involve an action to open them such as pushing down then twistin etc.
Childproof cupboard locks are an important aspect of keeping small children safe. Locks from Mothercare are highly rated, as are Kidco and Mommy's helper in the US.
If you open each of the back doors from outside , there is a selector switch for the childproof locks on the end of each door about 3 inches from the latch
No, the childproof lock disables the inside door handle so the rear seat passengers can't open their door. Someone else must open the door to let them out using the outside handle. The control for the childproof lock is usually on the edge of door and is only accessible when the door is open. The power window lock just prevents the passengers opening the windows. They both should be used together to be the most effective

In general you have to childproof your own kitchen furniture. The best option is to buy childproof latches to replace the latches that come on your cabinets. There really doesn't seem to be any better option unless you go and buy special hardware with locks for your kitchen cabinets.
Harmful household materials should be stored in their original containers with secure lids, out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources, and separate from food items to prevent contamination. Consider storing in a locked cabinet or using childproof safety locks on cabinets.
The sort of child locks that are effective in keeping children away from where they should not be are Zilch Child Locks as well as Concord Child Locks which are just topnotch and really easy to install.
