Use cleaners that smell good. If your house isn't clean you can't cover up the smell with air fresheners. First, clean. Then light some candles and spray some room freshener. What always works best for me is using things that all have the same smell. For example, the air fresheners, candles, plug ins, etc. should all smell the same. If you mix a lot of different smells together it won't smell as nice
