Like crap. I work at a McDonalds in NV and one employee called in sick during an inspection from the health department, the manager insisted to come to work but when he got there he was really Ill and the manager just told him to go home. Now it was waste of time and money (gas, busfare) to get from one side of town to the other for work, also it's a health violation for an employee to work around food while that person is sick but they don't care. They really don't care.

Like you are worthless.

You work VERY hard in -often times- unsafe working conditions. When you mention something wrong to a manager or franchisee your hours get cut down to 2-4 hours per week.

Something wrong includes but is not limited to:

-Letting them know we are serving expired food.

-Letting them know we are delivering over 5 miles outside of the delivery area.

-Letting them know that the product is not made to corporate specs.

-Letting them know that the makeline temp is in the "danger-zone".

-Trying to adhere to Health and Safety Codes.

-Letting them know you would like to take your "LEGALLY REQUIRED" break.

You will also end up working in stores where the internal temp of the store is in excess of 110 degrees (not exaggerating) .

As a manager you will be forced to clock out for your break but you are not allowed to leave the store and at least 90% of the time will be required to work through your break. You will be required to attend meetings without pay. You will be required to work completely alone inside the store for most of our shift (not counting a single driver who will be on the road) regardless of sales volume, and then be required to clean and sanitize the store within 30 minutes of the store closing or be written up... This last part also includes times when your closing driver does not make it back from their final deliveries until past the 30 minute boundary and you must also complete full inventories while trying to meet the time constraints. Full inventories generally comprize 4-5 full pages of items that must be wieghed out to the nearest thousandth of a pound.
